Event Planners and Wedding Planners have similar duties and responsibilities. Their role is to ensure the event that they are responsible is completely successful. One of the first duties is to meet with the client to obtain details about the event, which includes the date of the event, the time, the venue as well as the type of menu that will be. Their major role is to work with the client to make sure the event is what they expect. Therefore, they are responsible for gathering the information that is needed in order to plan out each and every detail. Based on the type of event that is being sponsored, the planner may have to ensure the guests receive their invitations on time. They are also responsible for ensuring each major player is aware of the plans. For example, the caterer of the event must know when the food should be delivered.
