Friday Night Back then

Way back when I was just nine or ten years old I used to watch TGIF on Friday nights with my mom and dad and sister. Every single Friday I would rush home from school, so excited for my TV shows. I know it sounds stupid now, now that I’m almost twenty-two, but it was a great bonding experience. I wish I cherished it more in the moment. But I did appreciate it then too. I know I did. It was just so wonderful, watching actors like William Russ and Ben Savage play the happy father and son, with my dad. We were just as happy as they were, I know it! Before my dad moved to South Dakota for work, we hung out all the time. Even after he left, we talked as much as possible. Actually, I still miss him a lot now, but that’s to be expected. When I miss him, I just watch some old TGIF on Hulu.
