Floral Tulip Arrangements

July 2nd, 2011

Tulip flowers are always gorgeous and lovely looking and these flowers are often used in many different occasions and events. There are almost 200 kinds of tulip flowers. One of the classiest arrangements of tulips is in a simple vase with ferns or other greens.

The arrangement that I will write in this article is one of the best floral tulip arrangements that you can follow. In this arrangement you will need sharp scissors, vase to hold the flowers and greenery or other flowers if you want.

1.) Remove excess leaves on each flower; leave a few leaves at the top of the stem. (Tulips look more elegant if most of their leaves are removed).

2.) Trim the stems according to the length you want.

3.) Clean the vase that you will be using and put the tulips in the vase.

4.) Add greenery, ferns or other flowers like pussy willows, or other spring flowers.

Good News for the Crew

I have been working on some things that the staff has wanted for a long time and I have been communicating back and forth with the people in the corporate office budget department to get us some office supplies that we have really needed for the past few months. I was talking to one of the girls at the office today and she told me that she was going to allow me to make a purchase order for some name tags and name badges and that we would be getting them within the next few weeks. I am really excited about this and I will be letting the staff know as soon as I see them next week. They are all really happy about it and they will all be picking the brushed aluminum kind that have the magnetic backs. They all want those but I want the pin name tags instead.

The Thing Won't Grow

I am a creative person, but sometimes I get involved with crafts and activities, and decide on a project, then hit a brick wall. My creativity is elusive sometimes, and really takes a lot to get it going. Some days I can just decide to do something, and by the end of the day it is designed, made, and framed. Other days I have an itch to make a particular project, but absolutely nothing comes to mind when I try to actualize my plans. When I decided to make a family tree to give to my parents for their wedding anniversary, for example I found myself searching for a Family Tree Example before I could even start. Sure I knew what a family tree looked like in theory, but in practice I just seemed to make a blob of a mess with pictures and lines. My family is a great one, and I couldn’t stand the idea of representing them with something akin to a static and chaotic interstate system rather than a lush and vibrant living thing.
